Smart Recycling System will be developed and put into operation at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Machang, with the goal of enhancing waste management and fostering sustainability on campus.The system utilizes cutting edge technologies like sensors and machine learning algorithms to enable monitoring of recycling bins, for instant sorting and tracking of recyclable materials.A user friendly interface is used to educate the campus residents about recycling methods and offer feedback on their contributions. The preliminary findings show a rise, in the number of people recycling and a decrease in the amount of disposed items in materials at UiTM Machang campus. This effort doesn't just improve how waste is handled at the university but also encourages students and staff to be more environmentally conscious. Establishing the university as a model for sustainability, in education practices.
