This project focuses on developing a sustainable rainwater harvesting system for agricultural use, reducing dependence on conventional water sources and minimizing environmental impact. Rainwater is collected from rooftops, filtered, treated and stored in tanks for irrigation and livestock, ensuring water availability during droughts. The system incorporates sensors, microcontrollers and solar-powered filtration to automate water collection and distribution efficiently. By using renewable energy, recycled water and reducing reliance on heavy machinery, this project lowers greenhouse gas emissions, conserves water and supports sustainable farming practices. It aligns with SDGs on clean water, responsible consumption, climate action and zero hunger.
