Abstract This project proposes a smart parking system to address the inefficiencies of conventional parking counters, which show total available spaces but lack guidance on their specific locations. Using IoT sensors and a NodeMCU, the system provides real-time parking availability via a web page hosted on a Wi-Fi access point. A survey of 22 participants revealed that 86.4% found conventional systems ineffective, while nearly all agreed the proposed system would enhance convenience. The project demonstrates a scalable solution to improve parking efficiency, with potential for further applications in locations such as hospitals and small-scale vehicle parking.
