Growing sustainability awareness has increased demand for second-hand fashion, yet traditional thrift stores remain constrained by limited operating hours, physical space, and restricted inventory accessibility. Dorayaki Thrift introduces a digital thrift innovation through a web-based platform that enables users to browse, filter, and purchase second-hand items online in a more convenient, efficient, and secure manner. The system is developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure stable performance, responsive design, and user-friendly interaction. Key features include structured product catalogues, smart search and filtering, secure payment processes, transaction history, and an administrative dashboard for inventory, order, and analytical report management. By adopting an Agile development approach, the platform supports continuous improvement through iterative enhancements based on user feedback, ensuring alignment with real user needs. Beyond improving accessibility and operational efficiency, Dorayaki Thrift actively promotes sustainable fashion practices by encouraging clothing reuse and reducing the environmental impact of fast fashion. Overall, Dorayaki Thrift has strong potential to strengthen the digital second-hand market ecosystem and foster environmentally responsible consumer behavior.
