Sunlight is essential for plant growth, but finding the best location for maximum exposure can be challenging. Without proper sunlight, the plant will experience many problems. Although
countermeasures and observation methods have existed for a long time, they still prove inaccurate and inefficient, leading to suboptimal plant health.
The project developed is a sunlight tracker based on Internet of Things, IoT used to monitor light intensity. It consists of an LDR sensor, DHT11 sensor, soil sensor, jumper wires, and an Arduino set. Thedevice shall utilize the light dependent resistor to extract constant data on sunlight. The data received will
then be analyzed and used to plant placement efficiency and predict spots that could potentially receive the most sunlight exposure.
The project aims to eliminate guesswork and improve agricultural efficiency. By having accurate, real-time sunlight data, users start to practice optimal plant placement which will subsequently increase the plant’s overall health, development and productivity
