By integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into mobile UI and UX platforms, the Intelligence Digital Packaging (iDPAC) mobile application offers an innovative method for packaging design education. iDPAC converts conventional packaging design procedures into a digital learning environment that is more easily accessible, effective, and aligned with the demands of the modern industry. Educators and students frequently communicate poorly because of a lack of instructional resources and real-world examples, which can result in unrealistic design outcomes and a limited comprehension of visual restrictions and principles in packaging design. This research employs a mixed-mode approach by integrating qualitative user insights, design-based development through Design Developmental Research (DDR) and Design Thinking (DT) and quantitative oriented usability evaluation to validate the effectiveness of AI-integrated mobile packaging design learning. The five Likert-scale questionnaires instruments were done with 30 students of Graphic Design Program in Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan that were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data was collected and analysed using descriptive research design. In conclusion, iDPAC is an effective teaching learning aid for the brochure folding in Packaging Desing courses by using digital teaching method. The results show that incorporating AI into mobile package design apps improves learning outcomes, boosts productivity for teachers and students, and improves usability.
