E-Deaf as an Innovative Approach for Teaching and Learning: The Development of eDeaf for Deaf Students Websites offer a modern approach to teaching and learning, providing accessibility and convenience through various devices such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and more. Recognizing this potential, the researcher took the initiative to develop a website as a learning platform to serve as a reference for students. The target audience for this initiative comprises students enrolled in the Special Skills Certificate course under the Department of Tourism & Hospitality at Politeknik Kota Kinabalu. The study identified that students often struggle to grasp the theoretical concepts of funeral management taught in the classroom. This issue arises partly due to the lack of suitable teaching aids for deaf students, which hinders the achievement of learning objectives. Moreover, students face challenges in understanding terminology related to this topic because sign language for Islamic Education terms is limited. Therefore, the development of the eDeaf website serves as an appropriate approach aimed at achieving the learning objectives of deaf students. Additionally, this study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of eDeaf in assisting students with their assignments and enhancing their comprehension of funeral management topics. The website's implementation also provides lecturers with insights into its impact on student learning, whether positive or otherwise.
