The development of sustainable energy solutions is important to meet the worldwide need for renewable resources. This project aims to develop an H-type Darrieus Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) with an inverter that can harvest wind energy in both urban and rural contexts. The turbine's vertical form allows it to catch wind from numerous directions, meeting the need for flexible renewable energy systems in areas with varied wind patterns, such as Perlis, Malaysia. The project's goals include developing a prototype VAWT with an integrated inverter system and deploying a real-time monitoring framework based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Key components such as the ESP32 microcontroller, ACS712 current sensor, and ZMPT101B voltage sensor are used for thorough data collecting and performance assessment, assuring effective power conversion from wind-generated mechanical energy into useable electricity.
