Nur Syahirah Binti Sabri Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia Kampus Perlis

This innovation is implemented as a teaching aid for Reproductive and Social Health Education (PEERS) specially designed for preschool children aged 4 years and above. Through research on children's problems, we found that the issue of sexual crimes against children is on the rise and according to a source from the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), this case is at an alarming level. So, we created this tool to help children get to know the limbs and provide a hands-on learning experience through practical experience. Furthermore, the creation of this device aims to provide early exposure to preschoolers of unsafe and uncomfortable contact types. Therefore, we chose to use Learning by Doing Theory by John Dewey which emphasizes the need to experience something to understand it better. By using these innovations, the problem of sexualism can be overcome through early exposure to children. Next, to prove the effectiveness of our invention, we conducted observations and interviews with preschool students aged 4 years and above. As a result, these innovations benefit children in understanding safe and unsafe touch and at the same time can increase the fun while learning. This tool can attract children to participate in class actively. In summary, creating this innovation offers a fun approach to teaching the subject of Reproductive and Social Health Education (PEERS) and benefits children.
