Healthcare facilities waste 20-30% of electricity on fixed-brightness lighting during unoccupied periods. A prototype occupancy-responsive lighting system automatically adjusts LED brightness using dual-sensor detection (infrared motion and laser beam) and PWM control with ESP32-CAM microcontroller. Full brightness (255 PWM, 200.9 mA, 2362 mW) activates when occupied, minimum safety lighting (10 PWM, 8.8 mA, 108 mW) when unoccupied. Blynk IoT platform and Google Sheets provide real-time monitoring and data logging of energy consumption patterns, system status, and sensor readings via user-friendly mobile interface.
