This project presents the development of ReadySetTrip!, a mobile-based travel planning application designed to assist travelers in organizing their trips efficiently and conveniently. The application functions as an intelligent travel assistant that enables users to discover nearby attractions, restaurants, and local points of interest based on their selected location. It aims to overcome the common difficulties faced by tourists, such as managing budgets, selecting suitable destinations, and creating well-structured itineraries.

The system integrates multiple core features, including destination recommendations, budgeting estimation, itinerary generation, and navigation guidance. Users can search for attractions or food places by category, apply filters such as price range or distance, and receive personalized suggestions that match their preferences and budget. Each recommended location displays detailed information such as budget range, estimated distance, and general descriptions. For food places, additional details like cuisine type and halal status are also provided to accommodate diverse user needs. The itinerary generation feature automatically organizes selected destinations into an optimized daily schedule, allowing users to save time and plan their trips more efficiently.

Overall, this project demonstrates how technology can be applied to simplify and modernize the travel planning process. By integrating intelligent recommendations, budgeting, and mapping into a single platform, ReadySetTrip! provides a seamless, user-friendly, and comprehensive solution that enhances the overall travel experience.
