EPF-Link, the mandatory retirement fund developed specifically for platform workers to help them accumulate retirement funds. Due to the lack of a mandatory retirement fund for platform workers, EPF-Link is proposed to facilitate collaboration with the Employees Provident Fund, platform companies and the government to enforce the structural deduction of retirement fund featuring a platform-embedded auto deduction engine and a triple contribution system. With EPF-link, the deduction dynamically adjusts based on the earnings, allowing platform workers to track their contributions. EPF-Link is expected to benefit all the stakeholders, especially in helping platform workers achieve financial resilience and prepare for retirement.
