Excessive sugar consumption among children has become a significant public health concern, contributing to obesity and related health issues. This study explores the impact of an interactive educational tool, SugarGuide Box, on improving children’s understanding of sugar content in their diets. The research aims to address the lack of sugar literacy through hands-on activities that teach children how to read nutrition labels and make healthier food choices. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including pre- and post-intervention assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the innovation. Results indicate a notable increase in participants’ ability to identify and manage sugar intake. This suggests that engaging children through fun, educational methods can play a crucial role in fostering healthier dietary habits. The findings underscore the importance of innovative educational tools in promoting long-term health and well-being among young individuals.
