This study introduces the Aeriscale, a novel gas measurement apparatus designed to measure carbon dioxide production accurately in laboratory experiments. Derived from the Latin word Aeris (air) and scale (measurement), the Aeriscale was tested during glucose fermentation from 1 percent to 7 percent. Results showed carbon dioxide production increased up to 5 percent glucose concentration, peaking before declining due to osmotic stress on yeast cells. The Aeriscale, featuring a dual-valve system and mounted on an acrylic board for stability, demonstrated precision and reliability. Its versatility makes it ideal for studying fermentation and other gas-producing reactions in controlled settings.
