In cooling and air conditioning systems that use water cooling systems, the heat that is absorbed and compressed is then removed to a medium, which is water. The water used to absorb this heat will remove the heat to the air and be cooled again using equipment called a cooling tower. In other words, the cooling tower is a device used to cool the water from the cold condenser to the water that absorbs heat from the evaporator and compressor. The function of the cooling tower is to remove heat to the surrounding air and cool the hot water that absorbs heat from the cold condenser to the water. This system is considered the most economical where cooling towers are used for water re-cooling systems. In this way, water only decreases in the water cooling cycle due to evaporation. The cooling tower (Cooling Tower) cools the water from the cold condenser to water with the help of the air circulation process. Any blockage and dirt in the Cooling Tower will affect the cooling capacity of the air conditioner. This project implements a Manara Pendingin system (Cooling Tower) in the form of a small prototype to make it easier for students to know the cycle and rotation of the system. In this way, can summarize easily to the students of air conditioning. This project is also carried out to gain knowledge and know the process of the system cycle from start to finish. In addition, wiring and tools that involve electronics need to be taken seriously because they can cause electric shocks or even explosions and even burns. Therefore, our group needs to be careful and efficient in order to prevent any problems that may occur. This project is very appropriate to implement and can help the lecturers in the course code DMC2343 (Water Pump and Cooling Tower Maintenance). The objective of the implementation of the project is to be able to provide clearer knowledge to the students. The second objective is to develop a prototype type of Cooling Tower that can be turned on for workshop use.
