Food feeding with the correct amount to the fishes has been a challenge to the fish farmers. Until now all the measurement and food feeding are done manually by the fish farmers. Such a manual approach has caused unwanted cases to happen like over or under feeding the fish and not feeding the fishes on time. Besides that, the automatic fish feeding system available in the market now is expensive and not affordable for every fish farmer. Thus, this project presents an automatic fish feeding system to address the feeding issues. The system built is mainly tackling Tilapia fish. The system utilizes Artificial-Intelligence (AI) vision to detect the number and size of fishes in the tank, then the amount (weight) of food will be calculated based on the number and size of fishes estimated. The food will be fed to the fishes with specific time fixed which are 8am, 12pm and 5pm based on the actual feeding time from the fish farmers. The system will also notify the user when the food storage is low in food and everytime the feeding is done (hardware side, buzzer will ring for a few seconds) through the Mobile Apps. Moreover, the overall budget of the system is maintained as low as possible so that every fish farmer can afford the price.
