Human norovirus (HuNoV) is the leading cause of acute gastroenteritis, responsible for outbreaks in congregate settings such as nursing homes. Although well informed among Western communities, HuNoV infection is often misidentified as food poisoning in Asian populations, attributable to lack of awareness, subsequently imposes significant health and economic burden. Therefore, we developed innovation “STOP NORO! (Booklet on Human Norovirus for Community Awareness)”, translating scientific knowledge into simple guide towards HuNoV awareness, presented as engaging infographics. Both printed and digital formats enable wider public dissemination, which aims to promote public awareness on HuNoV infection thus helps in controlling the virus outbreak.
