There are a lot of people live in the city. Many of them move into the city because of work. As we can see in the city, there are less tree because many of the area is filled with building and because of that, an unhealthy environment is developed because of the Carbon Monoxide gas released by the vehicles. People realized it so they intended to start growing a plant in their houses but they did not know how to do it. With a lack of facility for gardening, they decided not to do it. Plants is important for our environment because they provide us with oxygen that use to breath by exchanging the carbon dioxide absorbed by the plants into oxygen. People need to live in a healthy environment. Planting tree is one way to develop a heathy environment. Many people did not know that we can grow a plant in our house without burning our pocket. This project aims to encouraged people to start growing a tree using a simple planting system that is cheaper than the existing one in the market. This project use less component and it is simple to use so people who want to start gardening can learn very quickly and easily. The planting system works automatically so users do not have to worry about their plant getting wilt. This project has sensors that measures parameter related to the factor that affects plant growth. There are 2 types of sensors use in this project which are temperature&humidity sensor and LDR sensor. One sensor for measuring the humidity and temperature surrounding the plant and another sensor to measure the surrounding light intensity. For the LDR sensor and watering system, they do not connect to the Arduino because they work independently.
