The C-FlatFit 3D Insole is an innovative pediatric orthotic solution for children with flatfoot, offering a cost-effective and rapidly manufacturable alternative to conventional custom insoles. Fabricated using 3D printing with PolyFlex™ TPU95 filament, the insole incorporates functional internal structures to optimize cushioning, stability, and comfort. Biomechanical evaluation demonstrated performance comparable to conventional orthotics, with added advantages of faster prototyping and improved accessibility. The product is classified as a Class A medical device under Malaysia Medical Device Authority (MDA), has achieved TRL 6, and is currently undergoing ISO 10993 compliance. The innovation has produced two peer-reviewed publications, is protected under Copyright (MyIPO: LY2024W03379), with an additional Utility Innovation filing in progress. Aligned with SDG 3, this research is supported by UMK Prototype Research Grant and Dana Inovasi Yayasan Muhibah Tan Sri FNG Ah Seng Commercialization Grant.
