This project presents the development of a Cybersecurity Awareness Education Module Based on Gamification Using Microbit Smart Car designed to enhance cybersecurity awareness among students aged 10 to 15. The system integrates a mobile quiz application developed using MIT App Inventor with a Microbit Smart Car robot that provides real-time physical feedback based on students’ answers. Motivated by the lack of engaging cybersecurity learning tools in traditional classroom settings, this project introduces an interactive approach where quizzes are paired with immediate robot reactions such as LED signals, buzzer sounds, and movement. Guided by the ADDIE instructional design model, the system was developed through structured phases beginning with requirements analysis, followed by process modelling using UML diagrams, and interface planning through storyboard design. During development, the quiz application and robot behavior were programmed and iteratively tested to ensure reliable Bluetooth communication and accurate feedback. The system allows students to attempt four multiple-choice questions, receiving positive feedback for correct responses and retry prompts for incorrect ones, reinforcing learning through repetition and gamification. The completed module aims to make cybersecurity learning more interactive, motivating, and memorable by combining digital quizzes with tangible robotic responses. This project demonstrates the potential of gamification and educational robotics to improve engagement and understanding in foundational cybersecurity education.
