Traditional baggage handling often results in lost or delayed luggage, causing passenger frustration and increased operational costs. This study proposes an RFID-based IoT luggage tracking system to address these challenges by enabling real-time tracking and streamlining baggage management. The system employs RFID tags attached to luggage, IoT-connected readers at key airport points, and a central server for data processing. Real-time tracking data is accessible via a mobile app, enhancing passenger confidence and satisfaction. Findings indicate improved operational efficiency, reduced baggage mishandling, and cost savings for airports and airlines, contributing to a secure and eco-friendly travel experience.
