OfflAIne is an offline AI system built from upcycled computer parts, designed to bring advanced digital learning and AI to underserved areas in the Philippines. Running on UbuntuMATE, it uses an emulated Vega-10 NPU for deep-learning acceleration without physical NPU hardware. The system achieved 98% accuracy in educational tasks, with 2.5x faster inference and 60% lower power consumption than CPU-only methods. Beyond education, OfflAIne accurately processed MRI scans for cognitive conditions, analyzed soil composition, and assessed mineral properties, demonstrating its potential for medical diagnostics and environmental analytics in remote, resource-constrained communities.
