ST493: EcoSense-AgriNet: An Autonomous AIoT Drone Ecosystem For Intelligent And Sustainable Farming

MUSHFIQ BIN MAHMUD KHAN Asia Pacific University Of Technology And Innovation (APU)

EcoSense-AgriNet is an autonomous farming and data analytics system that integrates IoT sensors, machine learning, and drone-based machine vision to optimise agricultural operations. Distributed IoT sensors wirelessly transmit real-time environmental and crop data to a central hub, where machine learning algorithms analyse patterns and detect anomalies. Upon detection, an autonomous drone is deployed to visually inspect the affected area and report findings back to the hub, which then issues appropriate action commands. This closed-loop system reduces labour dependency, improves response time, and enhances farm productivity. The innovation aligns with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
