The oldest public park in Malaysia, Taiping Lake Gardens, is a historic urban landscape that remains a vital hub for leisure, cultural appreciation, and engagement with the natural world. By using a Power-Interest Grid to identify and evaluate important stakeholder groups, such as government agencies, community organisations, educational institutions, and commercial sector players, this study investigates how various stakeholders affect the administration and maintenance of the park. The results demonstrate that the Taiping Municipal Council has the most power and interest, putting it at the core of daily management and decision-making.
