SpeakQuest is an innovative intervention designed to enhance speaking skills among Malaysian ESL learners aged 10-12. The intervention addresses the issue of lower speaking proficiency compared to other language skills by using 5W1H questions to facilitate learning and practice. The platform, mainly based on Padlet, offers differentiated activities, including flashcards, video recordings, and creative projects. SpeakQuest aims to improve speaking mastery, build confidence, and increase students’ interest in learning English. Supplementary tools like Canva and Quizizz provide a safe and interactive environment for learners to practice their speaking skills.
