Shoes play a vital role in daily life, yet issues caused by wet or humid conditions, such as discomfort, odors, bacterial and fungal infections, and shoe damage, are often overlooked. Traditional drying methods are slow, ineffective, and unhygienic, particularly during rainy seasons. This study introduces the portable shoe dryer, a compact and lightweight device equipped with a DC fan, heating element, and UV sterilization to ensure quick and hygienic drying. Developed through market research, prototyping, and user feedback, it addresses the needs of modern consumers for convenience, portability, and durability while promoting foot hygiene and offering potential for future innovations.
