The Ez-CapOff is an innovative tool designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of the one-handed needle cap removal technique, a critical skill for nursing students. This ergonomic, user-friendly device minimizes injury risks while promoting adherence to aseptic techniques. Developed through iterative prototyping and user feedback, Ez-CapOff improves learning outcomes by building students’ confidence and competence. Preliminary trials show reduced effort, enhanced safety, and time efficiency. By integrating Ez-CapOff into nursing education, this innovation addresses critical gaps in training, contributing to safer healthcare practices.
