The increasing need for effective student management in residential colleges has highlighted the limitations of manual and card-based movement recording systems. At the Residential College of Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, these conventional methods are inefficient and prone to data inaccuracies. This project proposes the development of a Smart Campus QR Code–Based System for Monitoring Student Movement to enhance security and operational efficiency. The system enables students to record entry and exit activities by scanning QR codes at designated checkpoints, with data stored in a centralized database for real-time monitoring. The proposed solution improves data accuracy, reduces manual workload, and supports smarter residential college management.
