Novair is an IoT-based food freshness tracker designed to reduce waste and improve food safety. Unlike traditional refrigerators that rely solely on temperature, Novair uses MQ2 gas sensors to detect early spoilage gases. The system integrates RFID/NFC-based inventory tracking and active air management via DC fans and a servo-activated natural deodorizer. Real-time data and spoilage alerts are delivered via the Blynk mobile application. Experimental results indicate that Novair can potentially reduce household food waste by 35-50%.
