Dynamic Track is a digital audit management system developed for the Bahagian Korektif,
Jabatan Penjara Malaysia to digitalize the audit process by replacing conventional
paper-based practices with a centralized platform that addresses issues of manual file
handling, time-consuming procedures, and human error. The objectives of this system are to
design a secure digital platform for audit management, improve accuracy and efficiency in
audit processes, and provide an administrator dashboard that supports systematic
monitoring and informed decision-making. The system incorporates core functions such as
secure authentication for administrators and auditors, digital audit forms with automated
rubric-based scoring across seven key components, and a dashboard for institutional
performance reporting, while accommodating different categories of users including
headquarters officers, institutional administrators, and appointed auditors. Developed using
the Agile Scrumban methodology to ensure flexibility and continuous improvement, the
system was implemented with technologies such as Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap,
jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, supported by tools including Visual Studio Code and
Laragon, and reinforced with security mechanisms such as password hashing, cross-site
request forgery protection, and login attempt limitations. The results demonstrate that
Dynamic Track improves the accuracy and reliability of audit data, reduces administrative
workload and processing time, and enhances transparency and accountability, thereby
contributing significantly to the digitalization and modernization of audit management within
Jabatan Penjara Malaysia.
