PR326: PANiFlex-D

Dr. Helyati Abu Hassan Shaari Universiti Teknologi MARA Perlis Branch

PaniFlex-D is a conducting film that combines the electrical conductivity of polyaniline (PANI) with the enhanced flexibility of nitrile rubber (NBR), making it promising for flexible electronic applications. The brittleness and poor mechanical flexibility of PANI were overcome by blending with NBR and doped with lithium salt to improve ionic conductivity and flexibility. Characterization of the PANI/NBR films with various ratios comfirmed successful composite formation. The PANI/NBR 60:40 blend exhibited optimal performance, showingthe highest conductivity and flexibility. "Where Flexibility Meets Conductivity", these results highlighting PaniFlex-D as a promising material for next-generation flexible electronic devices.
