The persistent challenge of infant sleep-related risks, including SIDS, suffocation, and apnea, directly impacts Sustainable Development Goal 3.2 (ending preventable child deaths), leading to significant anxiety among caregivers. The VioSense Smart Mattress provides continuous, non-invasive monitoring using an embedded passive piezoelectric sensor array. All power components are safely enclosed within a thermally regulated internal chamber, preventing any risk of burns. A specialized machine learning algorithm efficiently filters noise to deliver 99.5% detection accuracy for critical distress events such as apnea and bradycardia. Alerts are transmitted as high-priority mobile alarms, offering a reliable, 24/7 intelligent safety tool for institutions and parents.
