The increasing incidence of street crime, missing persons, and outdoor activity accidents highlights the need for proactive personal safety solutions. This study presents the development of the Emergency Bag Camera (EBaC), a smart backpack integrating dual cameras, GPS, and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system enables real-time video recording, location tracking, and digital evidence storage via a mobile application. Prototype testing demonstrated reliable GPS accuracy, continuous video operation, and battery endurance exceeding 12 hours. The findings suggest that EBaC offers a practical and scalable solution for enhancing individual safety in both local and international contexts.
