Title: Development of the Physics Mobile Learning Application (PLMA) for Form 4 Students Based on the Malaysian National Curriculum

The rapid advancement of mobile technology has transformed educational practices, creating new opportunities to enhance science learning among secondary school students. Basic Physics is a core subject for Form 4 students under the Malaysian Secondary School Standard Curriculum (KSSM); however, many students face challenges in understanding abstract concepts such as force, motion, energy, and electricity through conventional teacher-centred approaches. These difficulties are further compounded by limited learning time, lack of interactive materials, and low student engagement, particularly in non-urban school settings. To address these challenges, this project proposes the development of a Basic Physics Mobile Learning Application (BPMLA) designed to support flexible, interactive, and self-directed learning. BPMLA integrates readily available digital platforms Jotform, Google Sheets, Kahoot, and online quizzes to deliver structured learning content, formative assessments, and real-time feedback. Jotform is used to design interactive learning modules and data collection forms, while Google Sheets functions as a learning analytics dashboard for monitoring student performance. Kahoot and quizzes are embedded to enhance engagement through gamification, reinforce conceptual understanding, and assess learning outcomes in an enjoyable manner.
